We went with several of our friends to see the Bluebonnets in Ennis, Texas. Ennis is the "capital" of bluebonnets. We have gone every year since we moved here--even when I was 40 weeks pregnant. Although the bluebonnets were not quite as plentiful as years past, we still had a great time and got a couple of great pictures.
Lulu and Maren decided to run through the fields of bluebonnets, which presented a problem when we wanted to take pictures of the girls and they kept running away. They are at the "no longer listening to their moms phase". I'll pretend like I like this phase.

I always love the bluebonnet pictures! One spring I promise to come to TX to visit you while they are in bloom to see them for myself!
