Today I received some really fabulous good mail from Marcelle. Let me say- I love Trader Joes fruit leather. I love all the flavors, but I really enjoy Mango. I first discovered this delicious treat after several trips to the Republic of California (as Adam likes to call it). I lamented quite loudly about missing this stuff in Texas and a girlfriend told me I could get it at my local Whole Foods. So- when I returned home I rushed out to buy some and discovered.. alas no mango.
To solve the problem, I called my girlfriend in CA to send me some. The other bonus- you can buy 4 for $1.00. However- fruit leather weighs about a bazillion pounds so- it was going to be expensive to mail so we decided against mailing it. I had resigned myself to no mango fruit leather when... I received this lovely package in the mail. She sent me 40 Mango fruit leathers. Yes.. 40. How totally rocking!

At first I thought you had gotten a bunch of tissue paper in the mail. That would be a little weird. How fun to get a treat. I am not a big fan of dried fruit, but hope you enjoy!

i love fruit leather. what is so funny is i was going to blog about this great fruit leather that they sell in the food section of target but threw the box way so i couldn't.
my grandma would make it with us every summer from her apricot tree and when i found this stuff at target it reminded me her her homemade kind.
i will check it out at whole foods. we will be able to walk to that store from our new place in MD
I love fruit leather. I have never had mango, and I think it would become my new favorite flavor, too. What a wonderful package!
