test

So I had to publish a test, because blogger is driving me crazy. I finally got my life in order to sit down and compose a blog, but for the past 2 days I have been unable to actually physically see my blog. It has been driving me BATTY.

THE CHICKS
In other news I just returned from a very exciting event. I got tickets to see the Dixie Chicks and really enjoyed it. I have seen them once before so I knew they were an amazing live act... completely worth the ridiculous ticket price. I actually got tickets for both Adam and I, b ut he begged off so a girlfriend went with me instead. It was fun to go with her, because we were able to chat before the concert. We usually have to chat while the girls run around, so it was a nice change of pace. They started the concert with the song "Hail to the Chief". It was pretty funny. They really are a pretty remarkable group and I loved every second of it. It also helped that there was this CRAZY dancing lady a couple of rows in front of us. It is amazing what a little alcohol will do.

TREE
We finally decorated our tree. It has been sitting in our living room since last Monday sans lights, ornaments, or anything of that nature. We didn't want to decorate it without Lulu, but kept finding ourselves busy with other things and still no time for decorations. Lulu did a great job helping and kept putting all the ornaments on the bottom of the tree. She was pretty cute.

CHRISTMAS CARDS
I finally ordered my Chrismas cards. I'm excited to get them addressed and sent out. I used some of the pictures from the photo shoot in Utah. I'm amazed at how many people to whom we send Christmas cards. I keep tyring to cut the number down, but end up adding more each year.

GOOD MOVIE
I meant to write about this last week, but if you haven't seen Stranger than Fiction, I highly recommend it. It isn't a typical Will Farrel film and by far the best part is when they are making fun of the TAX MAN. If you haven't seen it you won't get the joke, but maybe it will push you to see the show to understand why it is so funny.

We finally got our tree up and done last night- now it feels more like Christmas. Mya was horrible though- glad you have better luck with Lulu.

Have you seen the preview for the Dixie Chicks movie? I am excited to see it myself. Glad that concert was fun.

I want to see the Will Farrel movie- I keep hearing great things about it.

Can't wait to get your Christmas CArd (better not have tried to cut ME)--can't wait to see Stranger than Fiction. We almost saw that and saw For Your Consideration instead. Bad choice. So disappointed--love Christopher Guests. Concert sounds fun!

You have been busy. I was scared when I could not see your blog anymore.

I am glad you got to go and do something fun, you probably don't get out of the house much anymore.

Ahh the tree. We have the same thought, but than I think I might have mom make kp and maryn trees like Brynn's and than I won't feel guilty if I don't want to pay 25.00 dollar for a tree, they will have their own.

Glad to see you back.

I'm more than a little offended that you went to see the Dixie Chicks, had an extra ticket, and took someone besides me. I'm taking you off of speed dial.

I can't even believe Adam would consider going to the Dixie Chicks. Marc would not even entertain the notion! Best to go with a girlfriend anyway.

I normally don't like Will Farrell but I really liked Stranger Than Fiction. He should play the straight man more often! Loved all the stuff about the Tax Man.

I always try to winnow down the list for Christmas cards, too, but this year it's bigger than ever.

I loved Stranger than Fiction and I love Will Ferrell--I'm true blue.

I went to see the Dixie Chicks several years ago and love the concert. They're amazing. I recently read an article about them and they were saying that in England people were just sitting in their seats during the concert, they don't get crazy like we do here. That's kind of sad. I can't imagine a concert would be fun if you couldn't really get into it.
