My sweet Lulu turned 4 years old this week. She was so excited. She walked into my bedroom and said- "Mom I woke up and now I'm 4." It was very matter of fact and completely adorable. She has been so excited about turning 4. The best part- she was anxious to get her shots. Now mind you this was before she actually got her shots, but she proceeded to tell everyone she met that she was 4 and because she was 4 she was going to get shots. She actually went into the doctor's office singing- "I'm getting a shot today. I'm getting a shot today." Of course, walking out she was signing a whole new tune. Which included.. "mom I can't do it, because my legs hurt." She was also walking really slowly and limping at the same time. Goofball. The thing she is most proud of.. she now gets to ride in a booster seat. She tells everyone that she is 4 so she gets to ride in a booster seat.
Yesterday she asked me- when would she be 5.

Don't tell the other parents in the world, but I've always secretly thought Lulu is probably the cutest little girl I know.
How are they 4? Evie thinks the 8 year old across the street is the coolest girl, so she asked if for her birthday she could turn 8 instead of 4? Can't she just have 5 years for her present? They are goofs!
My word, she is her mother's daughter. She gets more like you every day. EXCEPT... pink? You hated pink.
I had the hardest time with four, but I'm enjoying it immensely. Happy Birthday to Lulu!

Now Amy B, on the otherhand, just dropped a few notches. Just kidding. Lulu is extremely cute. And I love that she loves our family so much.

I love the photos! It is so fun to see her celebrating her big day. She is growing up so fast. I can't believe it. I agree with mom- she is definitely her mother's daughter- fashion sense and all. Happy Birthday Lulu!
