Pinocchio

Lulu's ballet studio put on a production of Pinocchio this past weekend. Each class had their own little dance number in the ballet and Lulu's class performed as Bumble Bees. They were adorable. I was impressed with how well her class knew the dance and in my humble opinion were some of the best (especially since they were also one of the youngest classes). Much to our dismay we were not allowed to take our camera into the actual ballet, but here are pictures of her afterwards.

The actual ballet was terrific and fantastic. One of my girlfriends came with her daughter and saw the dress rehearsal, so she volunteered to take Teddy off of our hands so we could enjoy the show. It was a huge blessing.

She was mighty impressed with her flowers that "her dad bought her," even though they were actually from both of us.

I would like to point out that she is the one that put herself in this pose. We did not encourage her.

We were lucky to have several friends come to see the ballet. Aren't they cute?

I want to comment on the amount of make up. We were chastised by the director that the girls needed more make up. I know- it is a little much on a 4 year old. Hopefully this will teach her how NOT to put on make up.

Cute pictures! I love recitals. They're always good for a giggle. Lulu looks so cute--even with the makeup aisle on her face! ;) I had a hard time sending Kaitlin out the door with eyeshadow and lipstick-which was a lot less than they would have wanted.

She looks so cute. I especially love the pose, the perfect ballerina. The makeup is really something... but if it wasn't you wouldn't be able to see her cute little face.

She looks adorable in her ballet gear and make-up. I would have been seriously bummed out about not being able to take pictures at the performance, that's one of the best parts of the whole experience.

Oh cute. I wonder if Eva would love ballet as much as I would love watching her in ballet? But I would have a hard time putting makeup on her.
