For NieNie and Christian

We took the opportunity to release balloons with our wishes for NieNie and Christian. They were critically injured in a plane accident a week ago in Arizona. Their family had a tradition of releasing balloons for birthdays and special occasions containing wishes. NieNie's family organized a balloon launch in Provo and encouraged others to participate.

Lulu picked a pink balloon.
I picked green.
Adam picked blue.
Teddy was given an orange (like he can pick colors).

We each wrote our wish for NieNie and Christian as well as a wish for ourselves.

We pray that they will receive all the blessing in store for them and that regardless of the outcome their families will know the amazing impact their family has had on so many people.

I wanted to do this today at our youth activity but didn't get my act together soon enough. Glad you were able to do this.

What a sweet family tradition. My sister is/was neighbors with the man that died in the plane crash and is friends with his wife.

Don't mean to be off topic--it is very cool that you did that and very sad all they are going through--but very cute skirt you are wearing.

I was just thinking today about what a wonderful thing that was -- as you said, regardless of the outcome, I love that their family will be able to see the outpouring of love.

I immediately spotted your darling skirt!
