I should be working, but I knew I had to quickly get my thoughts down. I just read Becky's post about our delightful girl's weekend in July and I was immediately transported back to good food (okay- great food when it came to The House), fun shopping, and beautiful friends. I have no pictures, because quite frankly I was too lazy to take them. Thankfully there were 3 very talented ladies to document the journey.
To Cheddar- thanks for the calming peace you brought. I learned more from you this weekend then you will ever imagine. I am so happy to call you friend.
To My Therapist- You ALWAYS shock and inspire me. You truly are an amazing friend and I have done far too little to deserve you.
To the Hostess- Honestly.. thank you for the most perfect weekend. You truly know how to show a girl a good time. For the many decorating tips, time and energy spent planning every perfect little moment, Amy Butler, oil cloths, 1400 yards of red and white string and 1400 yards of black and white string too, navigating the crazy streets with the most unreliable helper, and for my most favorite souvenir- a Sophie original.
Love you all.

It seriously sounds like the best girls' trip ever!
glad to see you blogging again!!
You're in for a treat, baby!
I still love you, even though I am CRAZY jealous of the Sophie original, and you'd better will it to me!
And to Miss Lara, my navigator, thank you for coming. Can't imagine it without you--enjoy your Sophie original. As for you Miss Tasha--I have no doubt the budding artist would love to provide a piece for "Aunt Tasha".
