Why a Mac is better!

For all you naysayers out there. Macs are superior. Period.

Just this evening I was lamenting to my genius brother in law about my desire to do a silhouette. He sent this lovely one of me and Teddy gazing at the ocean. (The real story... we stopped on our drive from Disneyland to San Diego, because Lulu ate to much junk and proceeded to puke in the car. yeah- it was gross!)

I sent Jake a text to get him on the ichat so he could walk me through the process. However, he told me we aught to just screen share. Low and behold- there he was.. taking over my computer from 2000 miles away. Playing with the photos on MY computer, helping me create this. Admit it, you know it rocks.

Oh and showing me how to do this.

C'mon- you have to admit it is totally cool.

You also have to admit I have a pretty cool brother in law.

okay, now i feel dumb I did not know what kind you were talking about. So I want some of those. Yeah I think we are pretty lucky in the Brother in law category, I have a doctor, 2 computer geniuses, an architect. I think I am set. Now teach me, first I need to go and get me a mac

Ahhh, Lara! Gorgeous! Those silhouettes most definitely rock! I have a Mac and know how to do absolutely nothing cool with it. How do you do the pictures with text on them? How do you do the silhouettes? How do you not be as computer illiterate as I am? Any help you could give would be most appreciated. Name YOUR price! I don't know if you are planning on doing something on your blog, but if it's easier and you want to send an email, I would be most grateful.

Only if you have time! This is nothing urgent. My silhouette needs have been unfulfilled for a very long time now ...

So do you know how to do this now? Any chance you could bribe him into a brief tutorial?
