Inside my brain

I've been thinking. about what you ask? would you like me to tell you? yes, yes you would.

Hair- I got mine cut a couple of weeks ago. I jumped on the short hair bandwagon. I've looked at myself several times and said "I love my hair." except not in this picture. I look old.

Debit Cards- you see I lost mine. not surprising. I misplace it at least once every couple of months. I will admit that by saying misplaced I'm really trying to skirt any kind of responsibility. I go through the motion. call and cancel and then wait for another to arrive. I always promise to never do it again... at least for a couple of months. of course usually between canceling and waiting for another i find it. tucked inside some pocket or nook.

so you can see why it wasn't all that shocking when I lost it last night somewhere between pumping gas and buying a diet and the grocery. I searched the car, my purse, everywhere. drat. so I called and canceled it... again. but then this morning I discovered it wasn't really lost. it was tucked in my wallet. didn't I look there last night? surely I looked in my wallet. no. I blame Obama. I was looking while listening to him speak on the radio. obviously I was too enthralled to look properly. but the best part- when I called to cancel I gave them the wrong last four digits. instead of canceling mine- they canceled Adam's.

Co-Habitation- that is a little misleading. they have their apartment and we have ours, we just live in the same "house". you see friends from church moved into the top floor of the "house" a couple of months ago. they have a daughter the same age as Lulu. a son a year little older than Ted. and a baby that makes me slightly baby hungry.. until he cries in the car all the way to the zoo. the whole situation is quite possibly perfect. last night as I was leaving a female church gathering Amy said "see you at home". it made me giggle a little. did you know we co-habitated while we lived in NOLA with another married couple? it was a big house. we were lucky it worked out perfectly and we are still the best of friends.

Snow-I know. we have snow. I cannot remember the last time it snowed here. crazy. it only lightly covered the ground and was gone within an hour or so. but... there was still snow.

Medical Insurance-the bane of my existence. don't get me wrong, I'm thankful we have insurance. the ongoing saga is just too long to discuss. so now we are in process of changing our current insurance because they are ridiculous and are blurring the lines of what medications are and are not covered under prescription benefits. sorry. I promised not to discuss. this change results in mass amounts of paperwork and the discovery that we misplaced the copy of our first borns' birth certificate. I know.

My job-I do miss being home with my kids. but this whole medical insurance issue has made me unbelievably grateful for an awesome boss that let me add one more hour a week so I could switch and get health insurance through my job instead.

is the lack of capitalization and proper punctuation annoying?

I think your hair looks great!

Your cohabitation set up sounds fun, it's a good thing you like those people or it could be nightmarish.

We are in our 20th month of not having insurance, so I'm to the yearning stage.

Lack of punctuation: not annoying. Peek inside your brain: very cool.

Also, I wish I were the Amy living with you.

I just love you.

AND I LOVE YOUR HAIR! Super sassy and really a great cut for you.

The insurance thing sounds like a nightmare...I hope that things get straightened out for you with the new insurance and that all your medical dreams come true.

Merry December!!

I love your hair, you do not look old. Awesome on the friends, I misplace my credit card all the time, cancel it and everytime I find it in the pocket of a pair of pants(which I never search although I should since that is where i find it, hereditary maybe. Medical Insurance is wonderful and annoying at the same time, i think I spend more with it than if I did not have it.

if you're wondering why I'm in the stocks, it's because I was naughty.
