Why do we love New Orleans? Live music. Crawfish. Streetcar. Audubon Park. Jazz. Beignets. French Quarter. Maurices. St. Charles. Lee Circle. Mississippi River. Natchez.
I could go on.. and on. We had the opportunity to go to NOLA this past weekend. My girlfriend Liv was getting married and we wanted to be there to help celebrate the fabulous event. We had a wonderful time catching up with all the wonderful people we met in NOLA. It was also a chance for all the craft night girls to get together (I had a group of girls that I got together with every Tuesday night while we lived in NOLA. We did crafts, made dinner, enjoyed each others company) and celebrate. The wedding was wonderful. The reception was amazing. The reception was very much Ms. Liv- nothing was forgotten. The best part- Liv made sure that there was a birthday cake for Lulu. She even got the band to sing a rendition of Happy Birthday and "Lulu is Back In Town". Thanks Liv. Afterwards the Coco Family organized another birthday celebration for her. We have amazing friends! We were also able to head down to the after party, but we got tired and missed the live band by about 5 minutes-- are you kidding?
The weekend was topped off by a visit to Cafe du Monde and a little live music at the French Quarter Festival. What an amazing weekend.
I miss New Orleans. I miss everything it has to offer.

I am so jealous that you were just there! I miss it so much!
We love New Orleans too and are looking forward to a trip there over Memorial Day weekend!
Where the hell is Adam's hair?
Strange, but I would think the bigger question is when did Adam become Filipino?
let it be known! I have hair and I have not become Filipino. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
