Everyday Food ... Can I say this is the best place for recipes. A friend (that has since moved) introduced me to this magazine several years ago, and I have loved it ever since. She uses it quite frequently to cook meals for her family and since we found ourselves eating at her house all the time, we too fell in love with the recipes. Some of the recipes are more difficult than others, but for the most part- they are all very doable. There is this recipe for Molten Chocolate Cakes that is to die for. It only takes about 10 minutes to make and 10 minutes to bake. Delicious. If you are ever hard pressed to find something to cook for dinner- here is the ticket. Some issues also have the ingredients you need for 5 meals. All you need to do is take the checklist to the grocery store and you have 5 meals already planned- and they are 5 very different but delicious meals. I highly recommend you take a look.
Now I know- Martha Stewart does get a little old, and some of the recipes she includes in her magazine are ridiculous- however.. this is totally different. I promise. I am not a cook and really .. really need help, but I can cook with these recipes. Oh and go on line to the website for old recipes and look up Molten Chocolate Cakes- you won't regret it.

Martha Stewart does NOT get old. She is the master of her market, and I think she's great. (Whew, apparently I have strong feelings about her.) That most likely translates as harsh, but it is really in jest.
I love Everyday Food, and think it's a great idea. I just don't like cooking very much. What to do, what to do?
I subscribed to this magazine for 3 years and loved looking through it. I quite enjoyed the size and the spot light on certain foods. Anyway i stopped getting it because I never made anything. I should crack one out and give it a chance.
I love it, because we have 4 or 5 staple meals we make out of it. But, I also love trying new things and this always gives good suggestions w/everything already planned for you (the Sunday meals are my favorite). I especially love the desserts.
Good to know. I love to try new recipes, especially ones that don't take forever to make. And there's really not much I like more than chocolate cake.
