I am from warm vanilla pudding in blue chinaware, Snelgroves ice cream cones and the Utah Utes
I am from a house filled with children’s laughter, Christmas stockings hung under a houndstooth moose and a swingset for five next to the cherry tree in the b ackyard
I am from one of kind gladiolas and vegetable gardens.
I am from Halloween costumes, San Diego vacations, and movie day madness. From a place where family is everything and I love you is said more than any other phrase from the Watsons , the Maynes, and the Libbys.
I am from the passionate, who honor integrity, service, love and hard work above all else.
From “we’re going to Timbuktu” and “we believe in you”
I am from a church that believes that God still speaks to man, a 14 year old boy truly saw the Father and His Son, Jesus is the Christ, families can be together forever, and the Book of Mormon is the word of God.
I’m from Salt Lake City Utah born with a name whose reputation proceeds it, green bean casserole, deer jerky, pecan rolls and English trifle.
From the Beach Boys to the Beatles and Disneyland trips. Grease is the word and missionary dinners, rollerskates and running through the sprinklers on a hot summers day.
I am from a place where each person is special, old movies are timeless, car racing is a sporting event and you can fish in your own backyard. A place called home.
I wanted to post my sisters Jenn's poem, because if you read mine and Katie's this gives you another insight into our crazy family.

wow! another extraordinary story
Hey happy late birthday! Hope you had a good time!
thanks- yeah.. you know how birthdays are totally anticlimatic.
I just read this. She did awesome, fun to see that we all have the same memories. We had a great childhood.
Happy belated birthday from me as well. Hope you enjoyed your extra double special (sharing it with mother's day) maybe you should have set aside another day this week.
another very cool look into someones past.
I love these poems and think it's cool that the three of you sisters all wrote one. I keep thinking of more things I could add to mine and feel kind of bad that some of the more fun memories aren't the ones that came to mind first. Oops.
I actually want to write another one. I think it would be fun and interesting- although I think Jenn and Katie took a lot of the good ones.
So beautiful. Reading everyone's poems makes me want to try mine again! Maybe we can have multiples...
