Saturday-
I had a baby shower to attend for a girlfriend from church. It was fun and they had delicious food. Although we did have to play ridiculous games, but at least it wasn't the "smell the diaper w/weird candy melted in it game"-- Not my kind of thing. I'm also probably bitter, because I didn't win the adorable albums they were giving as prizes. My girlfriend is an adorable pregnant woman. She is really petite and is always dressed so well for being 8 months along. I was lucky and borrowed all my maternity clothes when I was pregnant with Lulu, but next time around- I'm totally going shopping with her.
After the shower we had to run to a work pool party for Adam. It was for his master's program. The doctor in charge had it at his house and let me tell you.. the house is ridiculous. On their land they have a tennis court, pool, soccer field, and running trail. Hello- I think the pool house was the size of my apartment. Lulu had a great time swimming and the weather was significantly cooler so it wasn't too terrible to sit outside.
Kaycee offered to babysit so Adam and I went to see "The Devil Wears Prada." I would be interested to hear y'alls thoughts on the movie. I have not read the book, so I'm not missing that component. I thought overall it was a good and very interesting. Although I disagree with the idea that she couldn't keep all her fancy clothes and wear them. I didn't think she is selling her soul to the devil by wearing designer duds. She did have some adorable outfits and I LOVED the purses (although one of the dresses was more like a long shirt).

I HATE smelling smooshed melted candy bars in diapers. The last shower i went to they played this awful game and I had to stop, they were making me sick (I was still in nausea land at that point of my pregnancy)--I mean, really, let's get some class girls. Okay, no that that's out, I really want to see that movie, I've heard it is hilarious and I love Meryl Streep.
Jake and I saw it and loved it. Jake really did like it. I have to agree that she should have been able to keep the clothes especially the clothes that made her look so Audrey. The shoes were fabulous as well. We thought that it was fun and had a great message. All of my girlfriends are trying to get together for a girls night to go see it again,
