After no rain for what seemed like months, we finally had a really great rainstorm today. It was so heavenly and Lulu and I played in it for a bit. We were soaked, but loved it. Lulu immediately started jumping in all the puddles. She convinced Adam to come out and jump in the puddles too. Ahh- I LOVE RAIN

I wish we would have gotten some of your rain. It has been sooo dry here as well. It did rain for a brief moment yesterday but only for 10 minutes!
Yes-it is our cute sidewalk. We also have this amazing window in the front room that we love. it is like a stained glass window, but without all the color.
Ya'll ought to watch "Singin in the Rain" together, I can't wait until Evie is old enough to appreciate those great old movies. Dave shudders at the thought of watching them, one of the great things about having a girl, getting to watch Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific, I could go on and on. Adam is one of the greatest dads on the planet!
It must have been such a treat to have a great rain storm after so long without one. I love the rain and wish we could have a couple of rainy days a week. It seems like lately even on the days it rains, it just can't stay cloudy all day and ends up being sunny anyway. That bums me out.
