I promise myself each year that I will simplify the things I plan at Christmas- but.. no such luck. I have been frantic for the last few days trying to get everything ready for our trip to Utah. I, of course, put off everything until the last minute. I have had our neighbor/friend Christmas gifts for months, and all they needed was to be put together. Of course, I wait until Sunday afternoon to start the little project. In the middle of putting those together- I still needed to pack, go to the doctor, finish a few things for my boss, finish 2 gifts, drop off the neighbor gifts, drop off other gifts, finish a few Christmas cards, and I still needed to finish my PINK CHRISTMAS gift. Now I'm in trouble. So- after 1 night of little sleep and 1 night of no sleep- I'm just about done. I still haven't sent my PINK CHRISTMAS gift, but I am actually planning on personally delivering it to her house (the joys of coming to Utah). So- if you haven't gotten your gift.. it is probably my fault. Don't worry- you haven't been forgotten. I really wish I took pictures of all the cute things- sorry.. my mind is not on taking pictures, which depresses me to no end.
In other news- we made it to SLC. I wasn't so sure when we were pulling into the airport only 45 minutes before our flight left, but we made it EASILY. There was NO line at the airport. Amazing. The flight was normal and Adam and I basically slept the whole time (that is what happens when you are sleep deprived), while Lulu watched a movie. I cannot believe how cold Utah is. Ridiculous!
I was able to take a very long nap- thanks to my sister watching Lulu. We enjoyed a little dinner from Cafe Rio (my brother-in-law's choice and sorry- no offense, but I really don't get what the big deal is) and a nice quiet night. I'm hoping our stay will be just as peaceful.

My friend just said that she can't figure out why she always leaves things to the last minute, but than she decided that she is more creative under pressure, maybe that is your trait as well.
Well if you live where I live and don't have any great restraunts except for the awesome Cheesecake factory that opened and has a three hour wait, than Cafe Rio is fantastic. But hey we don't have really any great restraunts.
Maryn is now wanting to go to Nana's and see Lulu "right now".
I find that I'm more creative under pressure too and often become highly motivated when the deadline is near. I always think I'll plan ahead next time, but I tend to lollygag until I'm stressed. Crazy.
It is frickin freezing here, but it feels like Christmas right?
I hope you have a relaxing, nap-filled trip.
