So I love you included the Boy George "incident" although he didn't really yell at me just stared me down. So most of the places you mentioned Delta now will service, Cairo, Nairobi, Costa Rica. We actually have some of the same things for the list although I don't think I'll be running for office. I hear Kruger Park is a great place for Safari, and what do you know Delta services Johannasburg! Maybe we can meet Nelson Mandela.
When I saw the title of your post I thought you were going to post a review of the movie, which looks really good, by the way. But I like your actual post better--especially the list of things you have done.
Funny story about the Palio. Jeremy and I were in Ortisei, Italy this summer. It's a tiny town in the Italian alps where everything closes at 6:30. Everything. And it rained almost the entire time we were there. So we were forced to spend a lot of time in our hotel room. One evening we'd had enough reading, so we turned on the TV, though there was nothing on in English. We happened upon the Palio, but we had no idea what it was. It was a riot. We were laughing the whole time, wondering what we were watching. It wasn't until we were on the train to Florence that I read about the race and Siena. So of course we went to Siena for a day. It was one of the best days of the trip. Siena is so cool and very medieval. If you get lucky you'll even come upon a parade with the men of a neighborhood dressed in their traditional clothes. It was amazing!
You attended a presidential inauguration? So cool. I can't wait until you run for office! I share your dream of staying in a really nice hotel like the Ritz...
Oooh! This is giving me something to think about! I love it!
I am missing you a ton right now!
You've already done so much in your 32 years! Wow. I haven't made a bucket list, but yours is inspiring.
I love your list. Amazing how many of the same things we have done, and want to do.
I missed how your marriage to an incredibly awesome and fantastic guy didn't end up on the already done list.
