Adam

I am officially a bad wife. So- it was not only Father's Day this weekend, but Adam and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary. Wahoo. I feel terrible ( especially after reading all the sweet comments about y'all's fathers and husbands) because I did exactly nothing to celebrate either joyous occasions. Sure, we were moving, but my sweet husband found time to not only buy 3 cards, flowers, and breakfast for our anniversary, but didn't say one thing when he got a big fat ZERO for either event. I promised him we would really celebrate this week. We just didn't have time and I wasn't in the mood to tackle another project.

So- in honor of my dear hubby I wanted to write a short top 10 list of reasons I love him (there are so many, but I'll spare everyone the list)

1. He loves me for all my craziness, insecurities, worst case scenerio living, frequent repeating of questions, and inability to make a decision.
2. He is an amazing provider
3. He supports me regardless of his true opinion
4. He calls anyone from France- a cheese eating surrender monkey (gotta love the Simpsons)
5. He is willing to move back to Utah.. at some point
6. He has a ridiculous knowledge about cars- so much that I have to ask him to talk about something else sometimes because my brain hurts
7. He makes dinner EVERY night and always makes the crazy recipes I select for Sunday dinner
8. He has never once said "no" when I wanted to take a trip with a girlfriend
9. He understands my need to do my own thing and to spend time with girlfriends and is always willing to make arrangements to be home for Lulu
10. He tells me he loves me every chance he can get.

Now- if only I could post a picture of the crazy man. This whole no internet is really a bummer.

you two are so made for each other. I never thought you would find someone exactly like you, but also a great compliment to who you are. I know that Adam understands that is the other great part about him, he didn't say a a word. Happy Anniversary!!!

This is such a great list. I am so glad you shared. Does he really make dinner every night? Man i would go for one night a week. Not that my husband isn't willing I just know we would end up with cereal. Not that that's a bad thing.

Yep every night. The thing about it, he feels guilty feeding me bad food, so he always makes good food like chicken, fish, pasta, etc.. We usually try and have people over on Sunday which is the day that I usually pick to do some crazy complex never used before recipes. He hates it, but is always a trooper and usually does the bulk of the meal himself. (Oh and if I end up cooking for some reason, he does the dishes.)

He really is a superstar. If it were up to me, we would eat oatmeal and rice every night, so it probably works out well for the both of us that he cooks. I'll be interested to see what happens when I stop working.
