Here We Go Rangers, Here We Go.

We went to see the Rangers play Game 1 of the ALCS against the Yankees. Adam and I had a great time, even though the hometown team lost, after leading by 5 runs! BOO. But, after watching several nights of baseball and even getting periodic updates during the Tate Lecture we can't believe they are going to the WORLD SERIES.

(Adam hooked up the people sitting around us with the live feed updates.. poor Michael J Fox.)

Attending a play off game is incredible. I've gone to A LOT of baseball games over the years and nothing compares. Adam is a huge baseball fan and this was on his wish list of things to do in his life.. that and attend the World Series. If only we had the absurd amount of money needed to attend a game.

I know.. I'm on a low sodium diet, but actually if you don't eat the shells peanuts are fairly low.

The whole antler/claw thing is ridiculous to me, but clearly it is a big hit with the fans.

We have had better seats over the years (thanks to all our fancy investment banker friends), but these weren't half bad and thankfully were fairly inexpensive.

The only thing that would have made it more awesome would have been to see Cliff Lee pitch and if they had won.

I told Justin we should try and go to one of the WS games. Yea right! $450 each were the cheapest I found. No thank you!

It would be fun to go. Some of our friends went, but they had season tickets. Others were selling them for ~$1000!
